Alameda County supports our community with office furniture donations to over 200 Bay Area nonprofits annually.
Does your nonprofit need office furnishings? Qualified Alameda County nonprofits are invited to request in-kind donations from the County’s surplus property warehouse at no cost.
Community-based organizations must be in contract with the County as a provider of community services to participate. See Do Business With Us to learn about requests for proposals (RFPs) for community services, and how to become a vendor with the County.
We are proud to support the nonprofit organizations that keep our community strong. Last year we donated nearly $4,000 in surplus items to community nonprofits.
Surplus Sales at the Warehouse
Nonprofits can find surplus or gently-used office furniture at GSA’s Property & Salvage warehouse at pennies on the dollar.
GSA’s Property & Salvage warehouse offers shopping for salvage items every Thursday and Friday from 9:00am — 3:00pm. Closed for lunch from 12:00pm — 12:30pm.
During COVID-19, shopping is by appointment only. Please call the office for assistance.
